Charlotte Masters, a member of the Surrey Storm U21 training squad, joins Cranleigh School’s Netball coaching team this term. Cranleigh is delighted to welcome Charlotte, whose training squad are part of England Netball’s Elite Athlete programme and are training ahead of the recommencement of the NPL league planned for March.

Cranleigh Schools are pleased to announce the shortlist for this year’s Awesome Book Awards. Now in its fifth year, it celebrates the best works of fiction for young readers. 

​Cranleigh’s first school in China, in the city of Changsha in Hunan Province, opened to students last week. Despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, within a year of agreements being signed with local authorities and investors the school has been built and all staff recruited.

Phil Burgess (England and Great Britain Sevens player) joins Cranleigh School this September as the new Head of Rugby and 1st XV coach. He will be leading the rugby programme until the end of December before continuing his preparation for the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, with the GB Sevens Team.​

Cranleigh School is pleased to report outstanding GCSE results, with 24% of all grades a 9 and 48% of all grades being 9/8. 100 per cent of students gained five or more GCSEs at 9 to 4 grade and 79% of all pupils achieved 9-7 in the core subjects of Maths and English.
