Cranleigh formally opened a new girls’ boarding house to enhance its dedicated boarding community. The opening follows a period of new building and refurbishment and underlines Cranleigh’s position as Surrey’s most mature co-educational boarding environment.
Cranleigh has once again been listed in the top 100 schools for cricket in The Cricketer’s Guide to 2020.
Cranleigh riders stormed their way to four national team titles, two individual National titles, one team silver, one individual silver and four more top eight placings at the NSEA National Championships held over four days at Addington Manor in Buckinghamshire last weekend. With 250 schools from England, Scotland and Wales competing with 1000 competitors between them, it was an outcome that we certainly had not predicted!
Cranleigh Schools are pleased to announce the shortlist for this year’s Awesome Book Awards. The prize was introduced four years ago as a recognition of the very best works of fiction for young readers aged between 7 and 10.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Cranleigh Christmas Fair. Over the past decade we have welcomed thousands of visitors, played host to hundreds of stallholders, and raised nearly £100,000 for the Cranleigh Foundation charity.
Cranleigh School is celebrating record GCSE results, with 20% of all grades a 9 and nearly half of all grades being 9/8. Ninety-nine per cent of students gained five or more GCSEs at 9 to 4 grade and an impressive 77% of all pupils achieved 9-7 in the core subjects of Maths and English.
