Three Felsted School rugby players, Samuel Bryan, Obinna Nkwocha and Tristan Smith, have been selected for the England Under 18 development camp, a camp that will determine final selection for the upcoming international fixtures against Scotland, France and Wales as well as the 6 Nations Festival against Wales, Scotland and Italy. Felsted is delighted that not only has the boys’ hard work been rewarded but also that they have the most boys attending from all schools across the country, alongside Wellington College and Beechen Cliff School.
Felsted School 1st XV rugby team kicked off their 7s season by winning the plate at the Seaford 7s national tournament. They won four out of their five games, beating Hurstpierpoint, New Hall, Worcester and their hosts Seaford College, narrowly missing out on a cup win after a defeat from Gordon’s School.
Felsted School’s U19 Netball team are through to the National Finals of the Schools Cup after winning all but one of their games in the East Regional round, scoring a total of 89 goals.
Felsted School is hosting a Gourmet Charity Dinner by Galvin Head Chef Danny Lee to raise money for the Magic Bus charity, with Guest Speakers, Joe Andrews & Verity Ellis presenting their epic 9,000 mile charity cycle from Felsted to Magic Bus, India.
Four Felsted School Sixth Formers took on 17 other schools, including a number of local grammar schools at the regional heat of the Senior Maths Team Challenge, securing a bronze place finish.
Felsted School riders had great success at the NSEA National Championships Plate competition, held at Keysoe Equestrian Centre in Bedfordshire, with three first place rosettes and one team qualifying to jump at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in May.
