London’s most iconic street, Whitehall was brought to a halt on Saturday as some 250 students from Gordon’s School, together with their Pipes and Drums, marched to the General Gordon statue on the banks of the Thames.
Tom Gordon, a direct descendant of General Charles Gordon officially opened Gordon School’s fifth residential boarding house on Sunday, in the presence of Trustees; Governors, parents, staff and students.
Taking fundraising to new heights, Gordon’s School’s Head Teacher; Bursar and Senior Pipe Major took to the skies for a tandem skydive to raise money for the school’s soon to be built sports hub.
They may have travelled over 3,000 miles to get to Gordon’s in Woking but for students from Khartoum International Community School (KICS) in Sudan, it was home from home
