On Thursday 13th September King’s Rochester Preparatory School celebrated Roald Dahl Day – the school was filled with Twits, Gloops, Giants, Foxes, Matildas, Crocodiles and Roly Poly Birds.
On Monday 10 September, six new King’s Scholars were entered onto the Foundation of Rochester Cathedral in a special cathedral service led by the Dean of Rochester.
King’s Rochester has a strong reputation for maximising the potential of pupils and this year was no exception as students achieved excellent A level results.
Mr Ben Charles has been appointed as the new Principal of King’s and Headmaster of the Senior School. The position attracted an extremely strong field of applicants reflecting the strength of the school and regard in which it is held nationally.
On Friday 11th May, pupils from Years 6–13 from King’s Rochester, will hear testimony from Holocaust survivor Rudi Oppenheimer as part of a visit organised by the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET).
Carolina Ferreira, an Upper Fifth boarder at King’s Rochester has been celebrating after performing as a finalist in the Rotary Medway Young Musician of the Year awards 2018.
