Leighton Park has been listed as one of the country’s top performing schools for Sixth Form education for the third year running, according to data released by the Department for Education (DfE) on 24th January.
The highest proportion of top level GCSE grades for 14 years has been achieved by Leighton Park’s Year 11 students today. Celebrating 55% of results at grades 7-9 equivalent, an impressive year-on-year increase of 4% on the highest scoring results, the 84-strong cohort racked up 35% at grades 8-9 equivalent with 15% at grade 9.
Leighton Park’s Master Teacher in Computer Science, Peter Marshman, is sharing his expertise – alongside world-leading tech companies such as Google, Facebook, BT and Microsoft – to advise UK Government on Digital Skills education.
