As schools returned (both virtually and physically) for the last half of the Summer Term, pupils at Hemel Hempstead-based Lockers Park School enjoyed taking part in a series of Outdoor Learning Challenges to celebrate National Outdoor Classroom Day. The global campaign seeks to make outdoor learning a cornerstone of every child’s day, mirroring Lockers Park’s approach to schooling.

​Lockers Park Pre-Prep pupils kicked off the Summer Term by taking a closer look at the classic English fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk. As well as writing a detailed book review as part of their English work, Year 1 pupils were tasked with creating their very own magic beanstalk at home. The activity produced some impressive efforts.

On Tuesday 10th March, pupils from Lockers Park Prep School in Hemel Hempstead joined thousands of schools across the nation in an exciting sports challenge for Sport Relief.

Lockers Park School in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead is opening its doors for a School Open Morning on Saturday 14th March from 10:00am–12:00pm.

Lockers Park Prep School in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead, was honoured to participate in an annual schools’ concert held at the prestigious St John’s Smith Square, London SW1. The popular charity event, which celebrated its 16th anniversary this year, raised over £9,000 for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury and neurodisability.

Lockers Park Preparatory School’s highly-regarded Chapel Choir was honoured to be invited to perform at a fundraising carol concert for blood charity Anthony Nolan at St Pancras Church, London in December. The prestigious event saw the choir performing alongside award-winning actress Olivia Colman CBE and Game of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel, who both gave Christmas readings.
