Pocklington School, near York, held a virtual event recently to launch its new ‘Shape the Future’ campaign to raise money for bursaries.

Pocklington Prep School is launching an innovative new curriculum ‘The Curiosity Project’, designed to develop vital skills such as independent thinking, critical analysis and teamwork. The new curriculum will prepare pupils not only for their next steps in education but for their futures as innovators, collaborators, leaders and more.

New weekly and part time boarding packages have been launched by Pocklington School in a drive to provide more flexible options for families juggling busy lives and work schedules.

Pocklington School has introduced a prestigious new Sports Scholars programme and is now inviting applications in readiness for the start of the programme in September 2021.

After lockdown halted its face-to-face events programme back in March 2020, The Pocklington School Foundation Careers & Business Network took to Zoom recently to hold its first virtual event. With over 20 guests joining the Zoom meeting, Pocklington School Headmaster Toby Seth hosted a Q&A with guest speaker Sarah Gough who was a pupil from 1996 to 2007.

Tim Morris, the new Head of Sixth Form at Pocklington School, is keen to encourage students from across the region to consider applying to the School’s Sixth Form as they consider their Post 16 options.
