St Swithun’s Prep School’s U11 netball team played on the show court in the iconic Copperbox arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park recently as part of Netball London Live 2018.

St Swithun’s School welcomed 60 young musicians from across the county to a joint workshop and concert with the Band of the Scots Guards.

Philosopher and director of studies at Pembroke College Cambridge Dr Adrian Boutel joined an academic lunch at St Swithun’s and acted as starter for an inter-school philosothon competition featuring teams of Year 10 girls from St Swithun’s, Henry Beaufort School and The Westgate School.

Georgia Bartlett, a 17-year-old pupil at St Swithun’s School, Winchester, has been selected for Great Britain’s Junior European Championship eventing squad following success at the Nunney International event last weekend.

In the hottest week of the year 25 girls from St Swithun’s School, Winchester, volunteered their time to help re-launch UNIT 12, a community centre in Winnall offering activities and services for local residents.

Two students from St Swithun’s School have qualified to represent Great Britain in pentathlon events.
