Talbot Heath school were pleased to welcome Victoria Sargeant, Head of Commodity Management at Siemens Mobility, who hosted a Women in Industry speed mentoring event for the Lower 5 students recently.

2018 marks 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s ‘Frankenstein’ and Talbot Heath school are proud to have been a part of the celebrations of Mary Shelley’s literary achievement this week.

Team Talbot Heath took part in the Bournemouth Marathon Festival weekend last week, for the fourth year running, to fundraise for their partner school Hanika, in Rwanda, and for Godrey's Village of Hope in Rwanda.

Last weekend, 27 members of the school community at Talbot Heath swapped their beds for sleeping bags and cardboard boxes to raise money and awareness for homeless young people.

Henrietta Morrison returned to Talbot Heath as the guest speaker at the school’s annual Speech Day. It was an afternoon celebrating the creative, academic and sporting successes of its students ranging from art and dance to Young Enterprise and STEM.

Talbot Heath geography department have been awarded the Secondary Geography Quality Mark, which recognises excellence in teaching and learning in geography.
