A young pupil at Wellington College in Berkshire, has been honoured with The Diana Award for going above and beyond in their daily life to create and sustain positive change.

Eleven schools across Berkshire and Surrey have been awarded a share of £6000 towards arts and cultural projects that will benefit their pupils and the local community.

The Wellington College Debating Team, from Crowthorne in Berkshire, has won the English-Speaking Union’s Schools’ (ESU) Mace. This is the oldest and largest debating competition for schools in England.

Wellington College, in Crowthorne, Berkshire, has been shortlisted for the Tes Independent-State School Partnership Award. This award recognises initiatives that involve working and cooperating effectively with a state school or schools.

Aspiring musician and Berkshire school girl, Matilda Noble, is so passionate about the transformational power of music, that she spent her lockdown planning and devising a socially distanced concert that could be streamed to the Wellington College community and beyond.
