AI Quality Mark Award
Posted on 18th Mar 2025 in School NewsWe are delighted that King’s School Rochester has been awarded the Good Future Foundation’s AI Quality Mark at Bronze Level, making us the first independent school in South East England to achieve this prestigious recognition. This award reflects our commitment to responsible and innovative AI integration in education.
The assessment highlighted our strengths in assessment practices, ethics, bias and safeguarding, and professional development for staff, all of which provide a strong foundation for future advancements. One of the standout initiatives in our AI strategy is our traffic light system, which helps pupils navigate AI use responsibly—ensuring they engage with AI tools thoughtfully, rather than using them indiscriminately.
Our next steps will include enhancing AI applications in administrative functions, deepening curriculum integration, and strengthening engagement with parents and guardians.
At King’s, we are dedicated to preparing our pupils for a future shaped by AI, ensuring they develop technical skills, ethical awareness, and critical thinking. This recognition is an essential milestone in our journey, and we look forward to continuing to lead the way in AI education.
