Brentwood School Equestrians close the season in style
Posted on 21st Dec 2021 in School News, Competition, Sport, WinnersBrentwood School’s Equestrian Team closed the 2021 season in style with a triumphant finish in the last competition of the year at Brook Farm Equestrian Centre.
Charlotte Cooke, Ben Hogarth, Elizabeth Lewis and Emma Philpot jumped with determination and speed to win the 90-95 Eventer Challenge with a super individual win for Emma and fabulous 4th placings for Ben and 6th for Charlotte .
The same team then went on to jump with similar skill and success for a second placing in the 100-105 class with super individual finishes of 2nd for Ben and 4th for Charlotte.
These excellent results secure Brentwood School’s qualifications in both classes for the National Eventer Challenge Championships at Hickstead in May 2022.
Team manager and trainer, Mrs Annette Philpot, said: “We won both of these titles two years ago pre Covid and look forward to the challenge of regaining them next year. I was thrilled to see the team all ride to their best abilities and my thanks, as always, to the team, including the parents, for their massive dedication and commitment resulting in these amazing results. Well done!”
