Cambridge offer for Llandovery College pupil

Congratulations to Llandovery College pupil Mikha’el Seth who has been offered a place at Churchill College, Cambridge, to study Medicine in September 2019.

Mikha’el joined Llandovery College in Year 11 and is currently studying A level Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology. Beyond the classroom and as a boarder, Mikha’el has embraced all aspects of College life: he is Head of Tŷ Gravell, chairs the Debating Society and is involved with Science Stars and the Psychology Society. Mikha’el is also a member of both the Chapel Choir and College Choir and has been known to sing and perform with gusto in the Noson Lawen and Open Mic inter-House Competitions!

It had been an anxious wait since his interview at Cambridge and Mikha’el said: ‘It is incredible news and I am so relieved. Thank you to all the teachers and other pupils for supporting me.’

Warden Guy Ayling said: ‘Mikha’el has worked incredibly hard to get to this point and he deserves the success – we are all enormously proud of him.’
