Nervous excitement buzzed around Leighton Park this morning as the Year 11s arrived to find out their GCSE results. Many found themselves awake unaccustomedly early but quickly shook off their summer-time routines at the sight of delighted teachers and friends.
This is the first year since 2019 that externally assessed GCSEs have been held, and it has been a year of signal success for Priory students and tutors.
Students from Moreton Hall School in Shropshire are celebrating a record-breaking set of results with the highest percentage of Grade 9 in externally set and marked examinations in recent history.
Reddam House, Berkshire’s GCSE results show the school greatly exceeding UK averages: 52% of all grades received were 9-7, more than twice the national average for GCSE.
