There was a truly global nature to the Tonbridge Science Conference 2021 as students from Australia, Mexico and the USA joined those from various schools in the UK during the virtual event on Tuesday 2 March.
With National Science Week on the horizon, Leighton Park is gearing up for an exciting week of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) interactive workshops for children in Year 5 at local primary and prep schools across Berkshire.
With the arrival of lockdown last spring, teachers found themselves in the unfamiliar position of having to give lessons online. Biology teacher Ben Gallagher discovered a talent for it and is making his videos available for free for students all across the country, through YouTube.
Congratulations to Kingswood School Year 9 pupil, Crystal, who has achieved her Science CREST Bronze Award for her investigation titled “Which crisps are crispiest?”, completed during the Spring Term last year.
