The education team from Nesta, the global innovation foundation, visited Talbot Heath school this week to learn more about the Bournemouth school’s innovative curriculum approach.

The new Drones Club at Hazlegrove Prep School sets the pupils a three point challenge in order to gain their Mini Drones Licence.

Pupils from Hazlegrove Prep School were delighted when their emoji models were returned safely to them by NASA.

Drones designed by young scientists from Burgess Hill Girls saw off stiff competition from all over the world to be judged overall runners-up in an international competition organised by the British International Education Association and STEM Sussex.

Over 200 enthusiastic students from five schools across Berkshire were lucky enough to hear molecular biologist, geneticist and television presenter Dr Emily Grossman deliver the inaugural STEAM lecture at Leighton Park School’s STEAM Careers Fair on Monday 2nd July.
