Chigwell School announces new Head of Wellbeing

Donna was born and raised locally and attended Woodford County High School for girls. She studied Medicine at St George's Hospital Medical School, a specialist healthcare university, and part of the University of London, electing to undertake an intercalate BSc in Neuroscience at University College London before returning to her clinical years.
On completion of her medical degree, Donna trained as a GP undertaking a broad range of medical training jobs including paediatrics, psychiatry and palliative care.
Donna completed her GP training, after the birth of her two children, and worked in East London and Essex.
More recently Donna has undertaken occupational health work, working for both NHS and private companies to provide a comprehensive occupational health and wellbeing provision. She has gained management and leadership experience in these roles and often provided specialist medical and functional advice to businesses and employees.
She has recently passed her final professional occupational medicine exams and is completing an MSc in Occupational Health.
Donna has a passion for helping individuals to realise their full potential, whether through adjustments, additional support, or coaching. Donna is able to disseminate medical research to ensure best practice at Chigwell.
Donna is delighted to be able to shape a wellbeing provision at Chigwell keeping the School Values in mind.
In her free time, Donna takes her children to their various sports clubs and enjoys travel, cooking, the arts, and meeting friends.
