The last week of term started with a fantastic response to Churcher's College Junior School's Home Start Butser Christmas collection organised by the school council.
The many gifts were all sorted by Year 6 pupils and then collected by the charity; we are thrilled that so many people took part in this venture.
Nicola Winter from Home Start said: “Thanks to the incredible generosity of Churcher’s Junior School’s children and parents we have been able to make up a special goody bag of treats for the families we support.
"We will be handing them out tomorrow at the end of our Christmas Party. We are grateful for the kindness you have offered to local families with young children at Christmas; it makes a real difference.”
