Churcher’s College Junior School Year 3 enjoyed a busy day learning more about the Anglo-Saxons on Friday 15th February.
The children had a great time painting with paintbrushes made of sticks and feathers, using our homemade dyes to get creative. They learnt about Anglo-Saxon runes, making their own clay versions, and studied campfire craft throughout the afternoon. All this hard work led to a well-earned hot dog by the fireside with visiting parents and siblings and there was just enough time for some campfire songs.
