Churcher's College's James visits his ancestor's grave for Sky News

Churcher's College fourth year student James Troughton has recently travelled to France as part of a broadcast news item which was featured on Sky News, Sky Kids and at www.firstnews.co.uk

It recently came to light that James' great-great-uncle was killed in action during the Battle of the Somme, being only approximately 18 when he died. James has found this particularly interesting as he has been recently studying WW1 in History at school.

The story was picked up by a production company who were planning a television news item as part of their special coverage of the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War One; they flew James to France to interview him at his great-great-uncle's graveside.
