Cranleigh School pupil Pippi has just been selected to join the Great Britain Elite Development Programme for Women's Hockey – the group of 24-30 athletes that sit just below the centrally contracted group of 28 hockey players.
Pippi spent much of last summer in the England Hockey camp as a member of the U18 squad.
Cranleigh's Director of Hockey, Mr Richard Organ, said: "To be selected as one of the top 60 players in the country whilst still at school is a fantastic achievement. We wish her all the best for her continued development within this group. It is just reward for her ability and commitment."
