Dallington School receives glowing ISI Inspection Report

Dallington School London is pleased to announce that its October 2024 Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection found all standards met. The report commended the school’s commitment to an inclusive, nurturing environment that prioritises academic excellence, stating that ‘Pupils' wellbeing is prioritised.’ Known for its creative, child-centered learning approach, ‘Children thrive as they build self confidence and develop their skills.’ 

The ISI also praised the strong collaboration between school leaders and the governing body, ensuring high standards. Inspectors highlighted the school’s focus on self-awareness and kindness, noting that ‘The school’s aims, such as to establish empathy and enriched relationships, are fully embedded across daily school life.’ 

Dallington’s inclusive curriculum prepares students for future success, with the report noting, ‘Lessons are well planned to take account of the range of pupils' needs and prior attainment,’ and ‘Teachers' careful questioning challenges pupils' thinking.’ It also highlighted the early years, where children ‘become confident communicators’ and ‘flourish in their physical development.’

The report praised Dallington’s ‘robust culture of safeguarding,’ stating that ‘Teachers are vigilant’ and ‘policies are checked meticulously.’ The school’s focus on physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, through a comprehensive PSHE programme, was also commended.
