Dauntsey’s Lower School in festive bake-off

Lower School pupils from Dauntsey’s have been getting into the festive spirit with their annual Christmas Cake baking competition.

The pupils from The Manor, Dauntsey’s Lower School Boarding House, created some 20 cakes, each one made and decorated with much love and many sticky fingers. 

The pupils met on two evenings each week to ensure that their creations were whisked, baked, covered in marzipan and decorated to an outstanding standard, in preparation for the judging by Mark Lascelles, Head Master, at The Manor Advent Concert.

The Head Master deliberated over the cakes for some time before announcing this year’s winners. Congratulations to Harry and Freddie!
