Felsted School awarded for boarding

Felsted School has been awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Independent School Parent magazine’s Independent Boarding School of the Year category. Only four schools in the country have been awarded this badge of honour, in what was a highly competitive category.

The award was given on the basis of Felsted’s leading boarding provision as well as the innovative approach to pupil wellbeing, including the opening of an onsite wellbeing centre last year. Felsted’s boarding culture is at the heart of the school’s family ethos, allowing pupils time to develop their unique interests and passions outside the classroom and share these in a welcoming and fun community.

It is an honour for the school to be recognised in this way by a leading education publication, whose judges included leading figures across the sector. Their aim is to highlight and celebrate the quality of the student experience in British independent schools.

This comes after Felsted was shortlisted for three TES Independent School Awards 2019, including Prep School of the Year, Sports Award and Marketing Campaign of the Year.

Felsted School offers day and a variety of boarding options to suit modern family life.
