Huddersfield Grammar School is proud to announce its impressive achievement of being ranked 8th in the prestigious Sunday Times Parent Power League 2025, in the category ‘Top Independent Secondary Schools With No Sixth Form.’ This ranking highlights the school’s exceptional academic performance, climbing 11 places from its 2024 ranking, and solidifying its place among the top educational institutions in the region. It is a testament to the school’s rigorous academic standards, dedicated teaching staff, and exceptional resources that support student achievement.

The Parent Power League is a renowned guide that ranks the top schools across the UK based on their academic success in their GCSE and A-Level results, alongside other academic metrics.

Headteacher of Huddersfield Grammar School, Mr Stuart Rees, expressed his pride in the school’s achievements, stating, “We are absolutely delighted to be ranked among the top schools in the country. This achievement is a reflection of the hard work, passion, and dedication of our students, staff, and the entire school community. The school’s high academic standards are supported by an enriching curriculum that offers a wide range of subjects and extracurricular activities. This holistic approach ensures that students are well-prepared for their futures, both in higher education and in the world beyond school.
