Leading the celebrations at Westonbirt School today are outgoing Head Girl Kate Willey, from Scotland, and Deputy Head Girl Ella Morrison, from Chippenham, who respectively achieved A*A*A and AAA grades in their A level results this morning.
Kate studied Latin, English and History and is going on to study the Leiden University; Ella studied Geography, English and Religious Studies and moves on to Bath University.
Adding to the A-grades this morning is Holly Blundell, from Malmesbury, who also successfully achieved three A grades in her chosen subjects of Economics, Psychology and English and will be attending Bristol University, closely followed by Bogdana Boneva who successfully obtained 2 As and a B.
With a total of 31% A*–A grades and 57% A*–B grades Westonbirt is celebrating the achievements of its outgoing Year 13 which, as a small year group, means the result of each student is statistically significant and with a 100% pass mark for all A level entries, Westonbirt continues to be a strong performer for its non-selective intake.
Head girl Kate said: "I am shocked and happier than I ever thought! Thank you so much to all my teachers, I couldn't have done it without them."
