King's Rochester launches 'Random Act of King's-ness'
Posted on 12th Jan 2021 in School NewsPupils at King’s Rochester are challenging everyone at the School and in the wider Medway community to carry out one random act of kindness, each day, throughout the current lockdown. The brainchild of King’s Chemistry teacher Mrs Hanson, the initiative came about as a way to help us all get through this third national lockdown.
Until the February half-term, King’s will post pupils’ suggestions as a challenge on their website and social media channels. We hope our wide-reaching community of parents, pupils, staff and friends will take on and attempt to carry out one of the challenges.
A truly selfless way to bring some sunshine into these otherwise dreary days, this is a wonderful idea and one the School is delighted to support. If you would like to be involved, please do send in your snaps of your Random Act of King’s-ness via social media, so that we can share them and inspire others to participate too.
The first challenge was announced online at www.kings-rochester.co.uk on Monday 11 January 2021 at 8:00am, and further challenges will follow each morning after that until the February break.
