King's School Rochester is proud to announce another year of excellent results in this year’s GCSE examinations. Following last year’s record-breaking success, the school has continued to uphold its strong academic standards, with a quarter of all GCSE grades awarded at the top levels of 8 and 9.

Two-thirds of all grades achieved are 6 and above, with the percentage of grades 7 and above more than doubling the national average. King’s ‘grammar stream’ excelled, with 70% of their grades in the top categories of 8 and 9.

“Today’s results are a testament to the hard work and aspiration our pupils have shown,” said the Principal, Ben Charles. “It was wonderful to see so many happy children and parents celebrating their well-deserved success. I am incredibly proud of everything this year group has achieved, not only academically but also through their broader contributions to the vibrant life at King’s. Their endeavour and willingness to explore their passions through the wide range of opportunities available at our school truly sets them apart. We believe that the holistic experience pupils gain at King’s is vital in developing the confidence and skills they will carry with them throughout their lives.”
