Maida Vale School hosts inaugural ‘Live Lounge’

At the beginning of February, Maida Vale School hosted their inaugural ‘Live Lounge’.

Talented singers and musicians across all year groups performed in front of their peers and parents. The mix of solo singers and bands played an eclectic range of genres, such as rock, pop and jazz – some modern music, with some classical thrown in too.

As well as showcasing their talent, the musicians were also raising money for the Sparkle Foundation, a charity aimed at providing educative, medicinal and training services to those in need in Malawi. Some of our pupils hosted a raffle with prizes ranging from luxury tea bags to bottles of wine.
