New Head of Maths at Lockers Park

Mrs Rogers joins Lockers Park having gained extensive educational experience teaching mathematics at an array of excellent secondary schools, including roles at St Albans School, Rickmansworth School and Tring School.
Mrs Rogers’ mathematical knowledge and skills are second-to-none. She is passionate about growing pupils’ confidence in maths, ensuring they feel able to ask questions and thereby developing their own interest in and understanding of the subject. With high expectations of pupils, she knows the key to unlocking the complexities of maths lies in finding the right approach for each individual child.
Originally hailing from Bushey, near Watford, Mrs Rogers secured her BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and PGCE at Leeds University and began her teaching career in Yorkshire before returning south. Now married with a young son and living in Hemel Hempstead, Mrs Rogers enjoys keeping up-to-date with current affairs, practising yoga and enjoying a spot of swimming and walking when time allows.
“I am delighted to be joining the team at Lockers Park,” says Corrina. “The school holds a first-rate academic reputation for creating happy and successful life-long learners and I am excited to be heading up the Maths Department, helping to build on its existing strengths as well as expand and enhance its offering.”

Lockers Park is a day and boarding school for boys aged 7-13 with a thriving Pre-Prep for boys and girls aged 4-7. Situated on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead, the school holds an excellent academic reputation, priding itself on preparing pupils for the country’s leading public and independent senior schools.
