Priory School pupil’s success in essay competition!
Posted on 29th Nov 2023 in School News, CompetitionCongratulations go to Panashe Chibwana, a Year 13 pupil at Priory School of Our Lady of Walsingham, who was successfully shortlisted in the OxBright Essay Competition 2023.
Panashe wrote a brilliant essay answering the question 'How can long-term thinking in the field of Law foster optimism about the future?' The panel of judges were very impressed with her writing and shortlisted it within a competitive field of over 1,000 entries. Her prize is a free place at an OxBright academic conference.
School Principal, David EJJ Lloyd, remarked: :This is a wonderful achievement and Panashe is a very talented pupil, keen to study law and work in the legal profession. I have every confidence she will be a great success."
Emma Soar, Vice Principal, said: "Panashe has a natural flair for writing and I am delighted that she has been able to showcase her skills."
