Purr-fect persuasive writing skills goes viral for Churcher's College Junior student

Posted on 7th May 2020 in School News

On Friday, 9 year old Churcher’s College Junior School pupil, Francesca, wrote her dad a persuasive letter about getting a pet, as she has been desperate for a cat for years. She put the letter in an envelope and pretended it had been hand-delivered to her dad. He shared it with his work contacts on LinkedIn and made a deal with her that if it got 20,000 views she could get a cat. He thought this was unlikely, however since Friday it has been shared thousands of times and now has over one million views and is still climbing!

Francesca has had thousands of lovely comments, including well known authors and big company CEOs, not to mention several job offers for her persuasive skills. The result? Boris the lockdown kitten is arriving in 3 weeks!
