​@ScienceGuy - Internet sensation Shaun Donnelly at Holme Grange School

On Wednesday 11th March the Holme Grange GCSE students were lucky enough to be visited by Shaun Donnelly.

Shaun delivers “Free Science Lessons” on Youtube and has become an internet sensation and has been helping students with revision and exam techniques for the past few years. The students from Year 11 began the day with three seminars from each of the three sciences and had an opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session.

During the afternoon the Year 10 students also joined in and the students were able to improve their understanding in many science topics. Finally, Shaun covered a range of exam questions and highlighted pitfalls and advice from the examiners.

Overall the students had a great experience and many came away with a greater confidence in their subjects as well as a selfie with the great man!
