The U11A boys’ hockey team of Ashford School are travelling to the IAPS Hockey National Finals in March to compete against the best hockey teams in the country.
The team of nine Year 4, 5 and 6 students took part in the IAPS regional qualifiers on Wednesday 27 February at Eastbourne College. The team won the tournament, gaining themselves entry into the finals.
The group is the second team to represent Ashford School at the hockey national finals, after the U11A girls’ hockey team qualified and took part in the finals in November 2018, where they placed fifth in the country.
