The school is proud to see its pupils reach new heights in academic excellence, securing places at prestigious universities and achieving top grades in their exams.
University Successes
St Catherine’s pupils have once again secured fantastic university destinations, with the majority achieving their first-choice placements. This year, our girls are heading to a diverse range of courses, including Medicine, Veterinary Science, Engineering, English, 3D Animation, Computer Science, Japanese Studies, Law and Music at the Royal Academy of Music. These successes reflect the hard work and dedication of our pupils, as well as the supportive environment provided by the school.
We are particularly proud to note that all our pupils have secured university places, with most going on to study at Russell Group universities. This is a testament to the high academic standards at St Catherine’s, with 18% A* grades at A Level and almost half A/A* grades overall.
GCSE Success
St Catherine’s is equally proud of the superb performance of its GCSE cohort, who have shown an upward trend from 2023 with outstanding headline figures. This year, 63% of grades were between 7-9, an achievement that highlights the dedication of both our students and staff.
We are delighted that most of our GCSE pupils have chosen to continue their studies at St Catherine’s Sixth Form, where they will be a talented and ambitious group. The school’s excellent average value-added score further underscores the quality of education provided, and we look forward to seeing our students thrive in their A Level studies.
