St Faith’s gymnasts victorious at BSGA National Team Trio Finals

On Saturday 17th March, gymnasts from St Faith’s competed in the National BSGA Milano Team Trio finals at Fenton Manor in Stoke on Trent. Qualification was from the regional round held in February with St Faith’s representing the East at the finals in the U11 Boys, U11 Mixed, U13 Mixed and U13 Girls, our biggest team ever to attend this event.

U13 Mixed St Faith’s crowned National Champions (16 teams competed)

U11 Boys category St Faith’s crowned National Champions (15 teams competed)

In the U11 Mixed category St Faith’s were placed 3rd (18 teams competed)

U13 Girls St Faith’s were placed 9th (22 teams competed)

In addition the scores of St Faith’s combined with Haberdasher’s Askes meant the East region was crowned Regional Champions in U11 Boys category. In the U13 Mixed category our marks combined with FitzWimarc Primary School resulted in Regional Champions for the East, the first time the East has won in many years.
