TASIS England named ISA Boarding School of the Year

TASIS The American School in England is immensely proud to announce it was honoured as the Independent Schools Association (ISA) Boarding School of the Year 2023 at the ISA Awards ceremony on November 6.

The ISA Awards celebrate excellence in independent education across the UK and TASIS England stood out among an impressive shortlist of finalists, including Cardiff Sixth Form College and Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate. 

Recognizing the outstanding boarding experience provided by the school, ISA CEO Rudolf Elliott Lockhart, said: “ISA introduced this award to celebrate how schools across our membership shape their boarding provision with the wellbeing of young people and delivering exceptional experiences at its core.

“TASIS England’s launch of their THRIVE programme welcomes pupil voice, proactively identifying issues for young people and enables them to take ownership of their own wellbeing. THRIVE is personalised too, so bespoke support is provided to meet all students’ needs. It is an honour to recognise TASIS England as our Boarding School of the Year.”

This significant accolade is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our 70 dedicated boarding staff, whose exceptional work creates a nurturing and engaging environment. Their efforts, coupled with assistance from staff throughout the school, the invaluable support of our parents, and the enthusiastic involvement of our students, have cultivated a thriving community that embodies the spirit of excellence TASIS England is known for.
