TASIS England is immensely proud to announce that it has been honoured by the British Youth Travel Awards 2024 and the British Educational Travel Association (BETA) as the Best Education Provider at the awards ceremony on November 21 at the iconic Warner Bros. Studio Tour London.

The British Youth Travel Awards were initiated in 2007 by BETA. This organisation, established in 2003, represents and coordinates the interests of over 120 of the best-known UK businesses in the youth, student, and educational travel industry. Overall, the British Youth Travel Awards attract over 800 entries in a range of categories.

One of 12 categories, the Best Education Provider Award celebrates excellence in an educational product or experience. It acknowledges the importance of continually creating new and improved customer experiences to remain competitive within the global youth travel market.

TASIS England has been honoured for its annual Summer Program. Founded in the late 1970s, the Summer Program offers students aged 12-17 an exceptional academic, sports, and travel experience on a stunning 46-acre campus near London. Welcoming students from close to 50 countries, it fosters personal growth, intellectual curiosity, and global friendships. Students enjoy engaging courses, exciting activities, and a supportive community, creating memories that last a lifetime.

This is the second British Youth Travel Award received by TASIS England for Summer Program, the first being in 2019 for Best Educational Product.

Bryan Nixon, Head of School at TASIS England, said: “We are delighted with this achievement, and our thanks go to all our colleagues who create, support, and deliver such a quality program to over 440 students from around the world each summer. This award now sits proudly beside the British Travel Awards 2019 Best Educational Product and underlines the strength and creativity of our Summer Program. Well done to all!”

Sia Georgaklis and Tom Trembulak, co-directors of TASIS England Summer Program, highlighted: “We are so thrilled to have received this award, as it reflects the dedication, talent, and hard work of an incredible team of professionals who put children and their educational experiences first. As TASIS England's Summer Program enters its 45th year, that team is as inspired as ever to continue to enrich the lives of young people who make their way to TASIS England seeking the summer of a lifetime!”
