Taunton School welcomes new Summer School Director

Leading south west independent school Taunton School in Somerset has appointed Tabitha Rogers to lead their successful summer language courses. 

Qualified teacher Tabitha joins Taunton School with over eight years of experience in events and academic summer schools. 

Taunton School’s International Summer School, which has been running for over 20 years, welcomes students from over 30 different countries every year. The courses, available to children from all over the world from the ages of 8-17, offer a taste of British boarding school life alongside a balanced curriculum of academic lessons, sports, activities and trips.

Students have full access to the school’s expansive 56-acre campus, which is home to well equipped, spacious and modern classrooms, with Smartboards in every room and wi-fi widely available across the whole campus. For co-curricular sports and activities, the site has two indoor swimming pools, two sports halls, a gymnasium, a fully equipped fitness suite, a climbing wall, tennis courts, squash courts, an Olympic-sized all-weather hockey pitch, numerous sports pitches, a theatre, a fully-equipped kitchen, a dance studio and a Music School.
