“Teamwork is Cool” at Churcher's College Junior School and Nursery

“Teamwork is Cool” was the main message the children took from Churcher’s College Junior School’s Team Building Afternoon on Friday 6th September. The pupils all made a very positive start to their year in Class 3 and enjoyed a variety of team activities including orienteering, a team assault course and problem solving challenges. They were then joined by their parents for delicious cakes and tea- always a highlight and this year the standard was especially high.

Mr Forbes (Head of Sport and Outdoor Learning at CCJS), who organised the activities, said, “The main point of the event was to build friendships between the children and parents as they join the Churcher’s community.” All in all it was a great opportunity for children, staff and parents to get to know each other and build friendships which will see them through their time at CCJS.
