​Burgess Hill Girls is celebrating another superb set of A Level results. Maintaining an unbroken 100% pass rate, well over half the girls gained A*-B grades in three or more subjects. This is the essential requirement for admission to the most competitive universities. Over 80% got a place at their first choice university on results day.

After winning bronze medals as part of the England team in 2017 and 2018, Burgess Hill Girls Director of Sport Suzy Clapp returned to Holland this summer for the European Masters Hockey Championships. She was the only scorer in a nail biting final versus Germany which brought home the Gold medal for England!

In July, Sixth Formers at Burgess Hill Girls hosted their first Tomorrow’s Women conference for young women in Sussex.

Ten athletes from Burgess Hill Girls represented Sussex in the National Prep Schools’ Athletics Championships in Birmingham on the 2nd July. Eleven year old Bronwen Llewellyn took Silver in the Discus.

Pupils at Burgess Hill Girls were invited to CAE in Burgess Hill to learn about careers in aviation and to experience CAE’s helicopter and airline simulators.

11 year old Ruby Light has taken first place at the National Schools Equestrian Association Southern Regional Qualifier, competing against 60 other riders of ages up to sixteen. Ruby will now represent Burgess Hill Girls at the National Championships in October.
