Ditcham Park School is a co-educational Independent School for children aged 2 to 16.

Situated near Petersfield, in the heart of the South Downs National Park, with spectacular views of the rolling Hampshire hills and south across the Solent as far as the Isle of Wight, we provide the perfect environment for your child to flourish.

We offer an outstanding education, which equips our children with excellent academic qualifications, skills and self-confidence. We believe that children learn best and develop self-esteem when they are encouraged in a caring and supportive environment. Our school's size and stunning location creates a genuinely friendly, nurturing environment where 'every child is known and valued'.

Relatively small class sizes, excellent teaching, strong pastoral care and opportunities for personal development through sport, the arts and outdoor activities, set on our beautiful 16-acre site, are unique to the education children receive here. Furthermore our innovative STEAM programme offers all year groups an exciting experiential style of learning that combines the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Maths. Children have the chance to try out the latest technologies and hands-on activities that have authentic real-world applications to build the flexible and creative problem-solving skills that will be most valued by employers of the future. The annual STEAM Festival attracts top technology and engineering giants such as McLaren, Google and the Royal Navy to our school to give careers advice and inspiring hands-on demonstrations.

Our extensive parkland and state-of-the-art learning environments lend themselves perfectly to a large variety of extra-curricular activities for all pupils. These include bushcraft, mountain biking, tennis, Lego, Greenpower Challenge and modern dance. Our children are conscious of the environment around them, and we have a vibrant cross-school Eco Committee that has recently won Ditcham the prestigious Green Flag status.

We are proud of our school's academic progress and achievements. Children in Juniors regularly exceed expected levels of literacy and numeracy and our curriculum provides rich opportunities for learning across all subject areas. Regular learning experiences beyond the classroom mean that our Juniors have the chance to see the application of their subjects taught by inspirational specialist teachers such as science, modern foreign languages and music.

Within our Senior school, we offer a dedicated three-year GCSE programme that really is the jewel in our academic crown. We currently offer 19 different subjects from Computer Science, Sport, Latin, Business studies, Music, Art and Drama, alongside all three sciences and Design Technology. Year on year, our GCSE results exceed the national average, allowing our pupils to move on to A-levels, as well as vocational courses at a range of competitive independent and state sixth form colleges. University destinations for Ditcham Park students include the top Russell Group universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Southampton and Newcastle to name a few.

Our children leave the school happy, confident and enthusiastic - always willing to come back and inspire the next generation with their learning journey.
