Children in Year 3 at Highfield and Brookham School in Liphook were recently visited by mountaineer, explorer and adventurer, Nick Carter from London, who came to share his experiences of climbing Mount Everest with them as part of this term’s topic of Ice Worlds and Arctic Exploration.

Children and parents from Highfield and Brookham Schools in Liphook celebrated harvest last weekend. Over 200 people gathered in the school’s chapel, which was decorated with an abundance of fruit, vegetables, and packed and tinned food which had all been kindly donated by families from the school. Children in the Pre-prep contributed to the festival by harvesting vegetables that they had grown with care themselves in the school’s vegetable garden.

We caught up with Sophie Baber, Headteacher at Brookham School in Liphook, Hampshire about the changeover from home to school.

Over the course of the last academic year, Nursery and Pre-prep children at Highfield and Brookham Schools in Liphook raised an incredible £14,692.73 for the Arrows Group Foundation, the school’s chosen charity.

From 4th to 11th August, Highfield and Brookham Schools in Liphook welcomed 19 children and young adults for their annual Highreach Holiday. The children came from across West Sussex, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Surrey.

On Wednesday 21st August Molly Fairbairn, England U16 Hockey player visited her old school, Highfield and Brookham, to mark the start of the construction of their new all-weather pitch.
