L'Ecole des Petits is a flourishing pre-primary school situated in Fulham, just ten minutes from Chelsea, with easy access by public transport. The school also runs its own daily morning and afternoon bus service between South Kensington and Fulham, and between its sister school in Battersea.
The school was founded in 1977 to cater for English and French families who wanted their children to grow up in a bilingual environment. By combining the English Early Years curriculum with the French National curriculum, the school provides all aspects of education in both French and English.
Children are taught by qualified and highly-motivated bilingual teachers. The school aims to provide an education that enhances early learning skills in the controlled environment of small classes in a warm and friendly atmosphere, which encourages children to express themselves whilst following the structured bilingual curriculum.
We consider maintaining traditional family values a very important aspect of our approach. Our philosophy is to develop confident and happy children by providing the best possible all-round education and care, with an abundance of sports, drama, clubs, school outings and events as well as academic lessons. Our pupils are prepared to move onto both English and French schools, and many continue their primary education at our sister school, L'Ecole de Battersea.

L'Ecole des Petits is inspected by both the French Inspectorate and Ofsted and achieves excellent academic results. OFSTED 2020 report qualified the school as "Outstanding in all categories".
