Milbourne Lodge is a selective Prep School for boys and girls aged 4 to 13. Founded in 1912, the school has a long-standing tradition of preparing children for Senior School Entrance and Scholarship exams to the most prestigious and well known public schools in the country including: St Paul's, Westminster, Eton, Charterhouse, Epsom College, Wellington, Winchester and Benenden. In the past 5 years alone over 50 academic, art, music and sports scholarships have been won by our pupils.
We strive to set the academic bar high, to value sport and extra-curricular activities, to instil a sense of responsibility and good manners and to develop children that are resilient and confident. Our academic curriculum, taught by a highly experienced and dedicated team of staff, is supported by excellent music, art, IT & sports programmes, with games played every day. A strong emphasis is also placed on pastoral care and the school provides a warm and supportive environment in which each child feels valued and can flourish.
The latest SIS Inspection awarded Milbourne Lodge 'Outstanding in all Areas' status. The Inspectors stated that: 'Milbourne Lodge provides an outstanding education for its pupils. The pupils' academic attainment is very high and their achievements are exceptional.'
