​Millfield Lower Sixth student Benjamin Goethe has begun a career in professional motorsport after signing for Belgian Audi Club team WRT for the GT (Grand Touring) World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, a four-round series which began in Imola, Italy and runs until Autumn 2020.

​After using his stage management experience from school to illuminate local landmark Glastonbury Tor on Thursday evenings after the national clap for carers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Millfield Upper Sixth student Sam Wardell from Glastonbury is now going on to study part-time in Events Management at the Events Academy in London, as well as starting his own events company.

​Millfield has appointed accomplished event rider Mel Wilder as Equestrian Sports Programme Manager, beginning in September 2020. Mel will work with Millfield’s newly titled Chief Coach Danny Anholt, who has been the Director of Equestrian Sports at Millfield since 2000.
