Northbourne Park School’s ‘Eco Week’ got off to a flying start on Monday 19th March, giving pupils a chance to take part in a number of thought-provoking, fun and practical activities learning all about how to help the environment they live in.
Tuesday, October 17 marked the annual Primary Schools U11 6-a-side football tournament at Northbourne Park School, which is always a big event in the local schools’ calendar.
All the children in Northbourne Park’s Nursery and Pre-Prep have been getting up close and personal with nature recently taking part in the new RSPB Giving Nature a Home ‘Wild Challenge’, and on Tuesday June 6 received their Bronze Award Certificates having met the criteria required to complete the Bronze Award level.
From dusk ‘til dawn across two weekends in May, senior and intermediate pupils at Northbourne Park School took part in the annual overnight camps. This event is a real highlight every year for the children as it allows them to put all the skills they have learnt from leadership lessons to the test. The challenge is to build a shelter from natural resources and spend the night in it.
