Located within easy reach of Norwich City Centre, Notre Dame Prep School is a leading Independent Catholic School for children aged 2 to 11. Academic results are excellent and we remain the top East Anglian Prep School (Sunday Times Parent Power) for Year 6 SATS. Children of all faiths (or none) are welcomed and class sizes do not exceed 24.
Notre Dame Prep provides families with a trusted learning environment where dedicated staff are committed to the academic, personal, social and emotional development of the children in our care, summarised in our school motto: 'Ahead in education, a heart in community.'
Children at Notre Dame Prep follow a broad, rich curriculum committed to both the development of skills and creativity. Subject specialists teach PE and Music to all our children, from Nursery age. Meanwhile, a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, ranging from Speech and Drama to Sports, Cookery and Arts and Crafts, continue after the school day is over to develop children's interests.
Achievement is not just evident in the classroom; at Notre Dame, we place a strong emphasis on developing the whole child through Music and the Arts. Children embrace the opportunity to experience a broad range of instruments for individual lessons, in addition to taking part in the school choir, while our annual Summer productions give them the opportunity to perform on the professional stage of Norwich Playhouse.
Pastoral support is central to Notre Dame's mission. Like a family, our staff support the social and emotional wellbeing of every child. Our small class sizes allow the children to build close, lasting friendships which grow as they move through this unique school.
An education at Notre Dame Prep provides children with a secure, nurturing foundation that enables them to progress to high school as confident, happy and caring individuals.
