Sarum Hall School is a modern and successful school located in the heart of Belsize Park, in which pupils are motivated to learn, inspired to fulfil their potential, and encouraged to achieve excellence. Our motto of spirit, happiness, success underpins our philosophy of individuality, inclusivity and positivity. The Golden Values of kindness, courage, respect, honesty, fairness and resilience ensure that every girl develops as an individual with a strong sense of purpose and moral compass both in the school community and society beyond. We encourage children to engage with their future and understand their role in shaping the world in which they will live and work.
Our modern facilities were purpose built in 1995 and the girls benefit from spacious classrooms which promote creativity and curiosity in their learning. The girls have a wonderful variety of lessons with specialist teachers in which high standards are set and an emphasis on practical activities and the application of information is nurtured. We are proud of our outdoor space which boasts a floodlit netball court and 4 short tennis courts, garden, pond and our iconic treehouse and beach huts, which allow us to house a wealth of activities both in the curriculum and as part of our extensive clubs programme. In addition, our dedicated Science Lab, Art Room, Food Studio, Library, ICT suite and separate Music and Drama classrooms provide cross-curricular learning opportunities and enable us to deliver a broad and engaging curriculum.
Our main entry point is at 3+ and we are non-selective as we advocate an individual approach to each child's educational journey; we feed to the most selective senior schools in the area and beyond. We believe in teaching the girls a set of transferrable skills, which they will use and apply in all aspects of life, establishing them as strong, confident and independent young women with a zest for life and a thirst for knowledge.
